President Serzh Sargsyan to leave for Sochi on working visit

On August 8, President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation, Sochi. On August 9, the President of the Republic of Armenia will meet with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

As part of the visit, the Armenian side has expressed readiness to hold a trilateral meeting with the Presidents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan to discuss issues related to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the situation resulting from the recent escalation fomented by Azerbaijan. Convinced that there is no alternative to a negotiated settlement, the Armenian side has always been in favor of high-level meetings.
