President Serzh Sargsyan receives congratulations on his birthday

On the occasion of his birth anniversary, President Serzh Sargsyan is receiving congratulations and best wishes from heads of states, international organizations, representatives of the state and public sectors, and individuals.

The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili,the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov,  the President of Moldova Nikolae Timofti, the President of the Republic of India Pranab Mukherjee, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomalii Rahmon, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev sent congratulatory messages to the RA President on the occasion of his 60th anniversary.

The Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II and the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ Kirill I also sent congratulatory messages to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan also sent a congratulatory message to President Serzh Sargsyan.

On behalf of Artsakh’s people, its authorities and on my own behalf I congratulate you on the occasion of your 60th birth anniversary.

You were one of the initiators of the Artsakh national liberation movement and have made a great contribution to the development and promotion of the two Armenian republics, the formation of the Armenian army and gaining all our victories.

Occupying high positions both in Artsakh and Armenia at different times, you have entirely devoted yourself to defending the interests of your own people, as well as to fulfilling national goals and objectives. Such a patriotic and loyal service deserves the highest praise.

I once again congratulate you on the occasion of your jubilee, and I wish you and all of your relatives and friends peace, good health, a long life and greatest successes, and I wish our heroic people and homeland strength and prosperity,” reads the congratulatory message of NKR President Bako Sahakyan.

The congratulatory message of Russian President Vladimir Putin reads as follows:
“Distinguished Serzh Azatovich,

I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of your jubilee.

During your presidency and other responsible positions occupied before you have deservedly enjoyed high esteem among your compatriots and a high reputation in the international arena.
You have made a great personal contribution to strengthening the allied partnership between our countries. I am confident that the further promotion of the Russian-Armenian mutually beneficial ties will stimulate Armenia’s full-fledged involvement in the Eurasian integration processes.

I honestly value our mutual understanding and trust. I would be happy to keep in our contacts and to continue our joint efforts for the benefit of the Russian and Armenian peoples.

I sincerely wish you good health, happiness, well-being, further successes and all the best.”
The Russian President also extended his congratulations and best wishes to President Serzh Sargsyan during today’s telephone conversation.

The congratulatory message of the Chinese President reads, “I highly appreciate the great efforts you put into developing the Armenian-Chinese relations aimed at actively upgrading our multidimensional cooperation. I pay close attention to strengthening the Armenian-Chinese relations, and I am ready to make joint efforts at enhancing bilateral collaboration, reinforcing our traditional friendship and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.”
