President Serzh Sargsyan receives CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolay Bordyuzha who has arrived in the Republic of Armenia on a working visit.

The interlocutors discussed issues regarding the cooperation within the framework of the CSTO. At the meeting Nikolay Bordyuzha reported to the Armenian President on the Organization’s current activities, the results achieved through the cooperation, including the development of the CSTO military component, the implementation process of the program on developing key military cooperation directions between the CSTO member states, the current activities performed by the CSTO Joint Staff, as well as on issues pertaining to ensuring security in the Caucasus region of the Organization’s Collective Security. The Armenian President and the CSTO Secretary General discussed the implementation process of the decisions made at the previous session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
