President Serzh Sargsyan received representatives of Young Presidents’ Organization
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting with the members of the Young Presidents’ Organization’s (YPO) Europe Region. At present, the Organization unites more than 20000 business executives from 125 countries with the aim of improving management through the exchange of education and ideas.
The members of the YPO’s Europe Region arrived in Armenia on June 12 and have already managed to held a series of meetings and discussions and have visited Armenia’s historical and cultural sights to get familiarized with the Armenian history and economy.
The President of Armenia welcomed the visit of the YPO representatives to our country and expressed hope that the young executives will take full advantage of their Armenian visit in order to establish new partnership ties, familiarize with the business environment in Armenia and the economic development prospects. Serzh Sargsyan stressed the importance of the activities carried out by the YPO aimed at creating a favorable business environment for young businessmen where new points of view, as well as continuous learning and aspiration for transferring experience to others are encouraged.
The president expressed his readiness to answer the questions of the participants. The young executives enquired of the Armenian President about Armenia’s comparative advantages, our country’s development prospects and its investment environment, the current reforms, Armenia’s foreign policy, as well as about a number of other issues.
