President received Catholicos Patriarch Nerses Petros XIX of House of Cilicia

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received Catholicos Patriarch Nerses Petros XIX of the House of Cilicia who as a member of the State Commission on Coordination of the events dedicated to the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide participated in its 4th session, as well as attended the festive events organized on the occasion of Republic Day in Sardarapat on the invitation of the president.

The Armenian Catholicos Patriarch of the House of Cilicia and the President of Armenia stressed the importance of combining their efforts for the well-being of the Armenian people, the collaboration and unity of the state and the Armenian churches for dealing with national issues, the works directed to the national preservation in the Armenian Diaspora and the consolidation of the Homeland-Diaspora ties.
