President Serzh Sargsyan received the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Victor Khristenko

President Serzh Sargsyan received today delegation headed by the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Victor Khristenko.

At the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues pertinent to our country’s cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Commission. In this context, the sides spoke about the memorandum on deepening cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and Eurasian Economic Commission signed yesterday and results of the first meeting, which according to Victor Khristenko, was efficient and successful. The parties expressed confidence that the memorandum will create a strong base for cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and Eurasian Economic Commission.

Serzh Sargsyan and Victor Khristenko underscored that after Armenia’s announcement on joining the Customs Union and pertinent decision adopted by the Heads of the CU member states there is considerable work to be done and reiterated their commitment to interact closely to fulfill these works and bring the process to a conclusion as soon as possible.
