President signed a decree to establish a RA Presidential Specialized Commission on Constitutional reforms

Based on the necessity to enforce the principle of the rule of law, to improve constitutional mechanisms for ensuring the basic human rights and freedoms, to provide a full balance of power and increased efficiency of public administration and guided by the Paragraph 6 of Article 55 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, I decide

1. To establish the RA Presidential Specialized Commission on Constitutional reforms

3. To approve the composition of the RA Presidential Specialized Commission on Constitutional reforms in accordance with Annex 1

4. To approve the operational mode of the RA Presidential Specialized Commission on Constitutional reforms in accordance with Annex 2

5. The RA Presidential Specialized Commission on Constitutional reforms will

a) Submit to the President of the Republic of Armenia before April 20, 2014 a concept of Constitutional reforms

b) After the concept of Constitutional reforms is approved by the President of Armenia, in a ten-month period of time submit to the President of the Republic of Armenia a draft proposal of the RA Presidential Specialized Commission on Constitutional reforms

6. To appoint Siranush Sahakian, an assistant to the President of Armenia, the Secretary of the RA Presidential Specialized Commission on Constitutional reforms.
