President discussed possibilities of helping the Armenians of Syria in the telephone conversation with the Catholicos of all Armenians and Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia

President Serzh Sargsyan spoke today on the phone with the Catholicos of all Armenians His Holiness Garegin II and Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia His Holiness Aram I.

The President spoke with Catholicos Garegin II and Catholicos Aram I about the issues related to the security of the Armenian community and the employees of the RA diplomatic representations in the light of the situation around Syria. The parties discussed the possibilities of joining forces, of providing organized support and utmost assistance to our brothers and sisters who going through the tense and progressively worsening humanitarian situation in Syria, and who need help in these taxing times.
