President Serzh Sargsyan received Dr. Harib Al Amimi, President of the State Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates

President Serzh Sargsyan received today Dr. Harib Al Amimi, President of the State Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who has arrived to Armenia on official visit.

Welcoming the guest, Serzh Sargsyan stressed the importance of reciprocal high-level visits for strengthening relations between the two friendly states and peoples. President Serzh Sargsyan noted that the history of the Armenian and Arab peoples holds many bright manifestations of friendship and since Armenia’s independence the traditionally warm relations have grown into close interstate ties.

The parties spoke also with satisfaction about the RA-UAE cooperation in the framework of international organizations.

Noting that in recent years, contacts between the highest audit bodies of Armenia and UAE have also grew in number, the President of Armenia said that that particular area is gradually acquiring its own place on the agenda of the Armenia-UAE relations, contributing to the enhancement of the bilateral relations.

The President of the State Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates Dr. Harib Al Amimi noted that a rather efficient cooperation with the RA Control Board has already been formed and expressed confidence that there also exists a great potential for deepening cooperation between the highest audit structures of the two countries. At the meeting, stressed was also the importance of exchanging experience in that area.
