The newly appointed Ambassador of Finland in Armenia presented credentials to Serzh Sargsyan

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of Finland in the Republic of Armenia Christer Michelsson (residence in Helsinki) presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

President Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment, wished every success and expressed hope that during his tenure in office, Ambassador Michelsson through his active work will contribute to the strengthening of the Armenian-Finnish relations and development of the multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the existing potential and opportunities of enhancing cooperation in the trade, cultural, economic and other areas of mutual interest. Ambassador Michelsson presented to Serzh Sargsyan economic priorities of his country and achievements in the economic area.

The President of Armenia and the newly appointed Ambassador of Finland discussed also regional issues and the NK peace process.
