The President signed a decree to appoint Gagik Buniatian member of the RA TV and Radio National Commission

Today, guided by the paragraph 5 of Article 38 of the RA Law on Television and Radio, President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to appoint Gagik Buniatian member of the RA TV and Radio National Commission (for a six-year term).

The following individuals applied to fill the vacant position in the RA TV and Radio National Commission at the contest which was conducted April 16-26, 2013: Hrachia Asmarian (born 1941), Anahit Grigorian (b. 1953), Hasmik Pilipossian (b. 1943), Dolares Davtian (b. 1955), Gagik Buniatian (b. 1969), Gayane Nersissian (b. 1949), Tigran Petrossian (b. 1951), Davit Alexanian (b. 1956), Ara Nalchajian (b. 1969).

According to the rules and procedures on conducting the contest for the vacant post at the RA TV and Radio National Commission, before the Presidential decree, at its April 30 meeting reviewed all the applications and made a decision to recognize Gagik Buniatian the winner of the competition.
