The newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia Niniek Kun Naryatie presented her credentials to Serzh Sargsyan
Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Kyiv) Niniek Kun Naryatie presented her credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
The President congratulated Ambassador Niniek Kun Naryatie on her nomination, wished all the best and underscored that Armenia will be promoting relations with Indonesia through active contacts and cooperation in different areas. According to Serzh Sargsyan, it is clearly evidenced by the RA Foreign Minister’s 2012 visit to Indonesia as well as the decision of Armenia to open the embassy in Jakarta already this year.
The parties stressed the importance of the strengthening the interparliamentary relations and active cooperation of the economic commission on the governmental level. Among prospective areas mentioned were tourism, culture, education, cooperation in the scientific area, which, according to the parties, will be supported by the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of the Republic of Indonesia on the Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.”
