President Serzh Sargsyan invited an official reception in honor of the President of Turkmenistan

President Serzh Sargsyan invited an official reception in honor of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov who is in Armenia of the official visit.

In his toast, President Sargsyan spoke about the Armenian-Turkmen relations which have historical roots, noted that they are based on the mutual respect and sympathy of the Armenian and Turkmen peoples. According to the President, today it can be stated with confidence that traditions of friendship of the peoples of our two states form a solid foundation for the interstate relations. Serzh Sargsyan expressed belief that it will allow to work more enthusiastically and efficiently towards the deepening of the Armenian-Turkmen partnership and there can be no doubt that the two states can move forward with confidence, calling to life all mutually joint programs.
