President Serzh Sargsyan received the Conductor of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Maestro Lorin Maazel, Chairman and Joint Managing Director at Harrison Parrott, Mr. Jasper Parrott (United Kingdom), and the President of the European Festivals Association Mr. Darko Brlek, who have arrived to Yerevan in the framework of the Yerevan Perspectives International Music Festival.

Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the visit of the world famous orchestra to our country and said that the performance to be given tonight by the orchestra at the Aram Khatchaturian Philharmonic Hall is a wonderful opportunity for the Armenian musical society to communicate with great art and assessed it as an outstanding event. The President of Armenia underscored that we are proud to host in Armenia the renowned Maestro Maazel and his equally renowned orchestra.
Lorin Maazel expressed gratitude on behalf of the orchestra and his own behalf to the President of Armenia for his warm words and noted that is was a great honor to be hosted in an ancient country which is well-known for its centuries-old culture.
