Last night, President Serzh Sargsyan had a telephone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The Presidents of Armenia and Iran discussed results of the session of the Armenian-Iranian joint intergovernmental commission held in October in Yerevan and welcomed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the hydropower station at Meghri river, stressing its importance in the development of the Armenian-Iranian relations.
