President Sargsyan received representatives of the constitutional courts who participate at the International Conference in Yerevan

President Sargsyan received today representatives of a number of the constitutional court structures from different countries who have arrived to Armenia to participate at the International Conference held on October 4-6 in Yerevan and entitled “Interaction of the Constitutional Courts and other Institutions in the implementation of the CD decisions.”

President Serzh Sargsyan welcomed organization of the meetings aimed at the discussion of justice issues which are current and important for any country and any society and wished all the best to the works of the Yerevan Conference.

Meetings in such a reputable format of the specialists of this area, which have already become a good tradition, according to Serzh Sargsyan are mutually useful and allow to discuss at the professional level issues related to justice, constitutional law and at the same time to find solutions, share positive experience and based on all this to develop recommendations which can improve the judicial systems of the member states and enhance reformation in that area.

The Chairman of the RA Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunian presented to Serzh Sargsyan the topics to be discussed at the sessions of the two-day conference and their importance for the member states. Representatives of the constitutional justice structures present at the meeting hailed activities of the RA Constitutional Court and its Chairman aimed at the hosting the international conference in Yerevan at a proper level, promotion of cooperation among the constitutional courts of different states and the readiness of the RA CC to share experience and constant interest towards that issues.
