President Serzh Sargsyan met with the Armenian athletes who are participating in the Summer Olympic Games in London

In the evening of July 30, President Serzh Sargsyan met with the Armenian athletes who are participating in the Summer Olympic Games in London.

The President wished success to our sportsmen and expressed confidence that they will accomplish the task before them with honor. Serzh Sargsyan noted that it were the athletes themselves who had set that task, knowing only too well that success in the Olympic Games is a very strenuous but nevertheless an achievable task. According to the President, the most important thing for our sportsmen is to be able to fully realize their potential - without restraint, with total concentration. The President of Armenia underscored that victories of the Armenian athletes are heroic deeds of a kind which they ought to strive to accomplish, presenting to our nation moments of joy and pride, also making Armenia and the Armenian nation more recognizable in the world. President Serzh Sargsyan noted that before the start of the Olympic Games in London, Armenia’s Olympic National Committee has done everything possible so that our sportsmen were ready for the competitions.
