President Serzh Sargsyan visited the RA Ministry of Defense

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Commander-in-Chief Serzh Sargsyan visited today the RA Ministry of Defense.

The President took note of the reports by the RA Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff of the RA Armed Forces on the army building and works conducted toward the upgrading of the combat readiness of the armed forces, as well as on the general military and political situation in the region and beyond, the operative situation at the Armenian-Azeri line of contact, tendencies of development and the necessary steps to insure calm at the line of contact.

Serzh Sargsyan tasked to enforce combat watch at the Armenian-Azeri line of contact, and to steadily raise the combat readiness and discipline in the army.
