President Serzh Sargsyan left for Georgia on an official visit
President Serzh Sargsyan left today for Georgia on a two-day official visit.
In the framework of the visit, the President of Armenia will conduct meetings with the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, Speaker of the Parliement David Bakradze, and Catholicos of Georgia Patriarch Ilya II.
After the private meeting of the two Presidents and negotiations in the extended format, the leaders of the two states will give a joint press conference. The parties will also sign a number of documents aimed at the development of cooperation in different areas.
In Tbilisi, President Serzh Sargsyan will participate to the opening of the Armenian-Georgian Business Council, will visit the Saint Etchmiadzin Church and meet with the representatives of the Armenian community of Georgia.
