President Serzh Sargsyan received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Armenia Vahid Galal
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Armenia Vahid Galal who is concluding his diplomatic mission in our country.
The President of Armenia expressed thanks to the Egyptian Ambassador on behalf of the Armenian authorities and his own behalf for his work in the last four years and contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-Egyptian relations.
“Relations between Armenia and Egypt date back centuries and we are proud and highly value our friendly relations with the people of Egypt. I am confident that the next Ambassador of Egypt to Armenia will also bring his contribution to the strengthening and development of our bilateral relations, and our relations will develop incessantly,” President Serzh Sargsyan said, stressing the importance of the interstate relations and deepened cooperation with the Arab world and Egypt, which holds high esteem in the Arab world, in particular.
Learning that Ambassador Galal after concluding his mission in Armenia will continue his work in Egypt as Deputy Foreign Minister of Egypt for Cultural Issues, President Sargsyan wished him success.
Ambassador Vahid Galal noted that he considers Armenia his second motherland and on his new position he would spare no effort to strengthen the Armenian-Egyptian relations and expand bilateral cooperation.
