President Serzh Sargsyan received a delegation of the Armenian Jewelers’ Association headed by its Chairman Gagik Gevorkyan

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received a delegation of the Armenian Jewelers’ Association (AJA) headed by its Chairman Gagik Gevorkyan.

President Sargsyan congratulated Gagik Gevorkyan on his election as Chairman of the AJA and expressed hope that the Association, which unites Armenian jewelers in different corners of the world, would promote further development of the Armenian jewelry art through its numerous programs.

Gagik Gevorkyan presented to Serzh Sargsyan forthcoming projects and activities of the Association. He highlighted, in particular, the First Exhibition of the AJA dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence to be held in Yerevan on September 21, which will be attended by many famous companies.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the broadening of the relations between Armenian jewelers all over the world and prospects of development of the jewelry business in Armenia.
