President Serzh Sargsyan received a delegation of the Haniel Group
President Serzh Sargsyan received today a delegation of the Haniel Group which comprised representatives of the Eurodress, Hess Nature, WKS and WKS Armenia branch.
The President of Armenia welcomed the Haniel Group’s activities in Armenia and noted that not long ago he attended the opening ceremony of the Company’s garment factory in Amasia and stressed the importance of the implementation of the investment programs in Yerevan as well as in marzes. Serzh Sargsyan underscored that in the framework of the state policy of improving business climate and encouragement of investments a considerable amount of work has already been accomplished and this policy, aimed at the economic development and creation of new jobs, will continue.
The parties agreed that investments in Armenia’s textile industry could be very promising, spoke about the importance of retraining specialists and improving their skills. President Sargsyan and representatives of the Haniel Group discussed current developments in the textile sector of the global market, structural changes and reviewed possibilities for Armenia’s market positioning.
Representatives of the Haniel Group expressed gratitude to the President of Armenia for his readiness to assist their programs in Armenia and underlined that the Company sees strong opportunities for cooperation and growth in Armenia which provide good possibilities for the implementation of prospective development programs.
