President Serzh Sargsyan visited the TUMO Center of Creative Technologies
President Serzh Sargsyan visited today the TUMO Center of Creative Technologies located in the Ajapniak community of Yerevan. The President toured the premise of the Center and familiarized with the conditions and programs.
The President was informed that the Epigy Labs AM Ltd. conducted large-scale construction works and built the first unit of a 6-story techno park, where the programs of the TUMO Center will be realized.
It was noted that the objective of the TUMO Center of Creative Technologies established by the Epigy Labs AM Ltd. through the initiative of the Simonian Foundation, is to implement educational programs using the information technologies, to organize and conduct classes and seminars to introduce the young people to the global technological achievements, etc. The TUMO will also serve as an open studio for the Armenian teenagers, where they will develop their skills by creating and implementing their own projects.
The Center is scheduled to open on August 14. Starting from 2012, the TUMO Center will also become a summer camp and will conduct summer courses for local and foreign teenagers.
