President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden Carl Bildt.
Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan noted that Armenia attaches importance to the continual development of the political dialogue with Sweden, as well as to a more active cooperation in the framework of international organizations on the issues of mutual interest.
The parties discussed issues pertinent to the deepening of Armenia-EU relations, pointing out that this area too could become an excellent venue for efficient cooperation, considering the fact that Sweden is one of the initiators of the Eastern Partnership program.
Underscoring existing potential and opportunities, the two sides stressed the importance of enhancing and developing the Armenian-Swedish cooperation in different areas.
The two parties exchanged also views on regional issues and the current stage of the NK peace process.
