President Serzh Sargsyan received members of the World Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received members of the World Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games, who have arrived to Yerevan from different countries to discuss preliminary works for the 5th Pan-Armenian Games to be held in Armenia this August.
The President of Armenia welcomed the members of the Committee and stressed the importance of their work particularly now when in Armenia as well as in Spyurk much is spoken about using the common potential of the Armenian nation and necessity to join efforts. Serzh Sargsyan wished success to the 5th Pan-Armenian Games and noted that sport has great potential of uniting people which should be utilized to its fullest.
The participants of the meeting said the idea of “Unity through Sport” lies in the basis of the Pan-Armenian Games and they would do their best so that the 5th Games are conducted on a decent level and serve that purpose.
Members of the World Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games informed the President on the decisions adopted at the Committee’s yesterday session, ongoing works and existing problems and avenues to address them.
