President Serzh Sargsyan tours the capital
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan accompanied by the Mayor of Yerevan Karan Karapetian and the Minister of Culture of Armenia Hasmik Pogossian visited the Pantheon in the Komitas Park, familiarized with the current and planned renovation works and together with the Mayor planted a tree. Later, the President visited a courtyard of a community in Malatya-Sebastian administrative division. He observed the beautification works and participated at tree-planting. The renovation programs for the courtyards of the capital have been considerably supported by the Pyunik benevolent Fund.
The President of Armenia visited today also the cycle race track which is being constructed in the capital by the Italian Renco company. The President was demonstrated the blueprints of the cycle track, which is being constructed in accordance with the modern standards, and observed the construction works. It was noted that the cycle track, which is being built with the aim of developing cycle racing in Armenia, has unique architectural features and will accommodate 3200 spectators. The 70% of the construction works have already been completed. The construction of the cycle racing track is to be concluded in August.
