The newly appointed Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta to Armenia presented his credentials to President Sargsyan
Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta to Armenia Jean-Michel Oughourlian presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
The President of Armenia congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success.
Ambassador Jean-Michel Oughourlian noted that being the Sovereign Maltese Military Order’s only knight of the Armenian descent, he is very honored to assume the post of the Maltese Ambassador and carry on with the programs of the Order in Armenia.
“It is wonderful and exciting that an Armenian is being nominated to such a high position. I am confident that your Armenian heritage will facilitate your work in Armenia. I am also certain that through your activities you will raise public awareness regarding the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta,” President of Armenia said, praising the Order’s benevolent mission.
