President Serzh Sargsyan will conduct state visits to Cyprus and Greece

On January 17, President Serzh Sargsyan will conduct a state visit to the Republic of Cyprus. On January 18, the President of Armenia will begin his state visit to the Hellenic Republic.

In the framework of the state visit to the Republic of Cyprus, President Sargsyan will meet with the President of Cyprus Demetris Christofias, Archbishop Chrisostomos II, and the President of the House of Representatives Marios Garoyian.

The President of Armenia will also take part at the opening of the Armenia-Cyprus business forum.

In Cyprus, President Serzh Sargsyan will meet with the representatives of the Armenian community, and on the last day of the visit, on January 18, in Larnaca President Sargsyan will lay a wreath at the monument dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. From Cyprus the President of Armenia will head for Greece.

In Greece, Serzh Sargsyan will hold a meeting with the President of Greece Karolos Papoulias, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Hieronymus II, the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Filippos Petsalnikos, and Prime Minister George A. Papandreou.

In Athens, President Sargsyan will also meet with the representatives of the traditional Armenian parties functioning in Spyurk.

On January 20, the President of Armenia will conclude his state visit to the Hellenic Republic and return to Yerevan.
