President Serzh Sargsyan received the Head of the Administration of the President of Russia Sergey Naryshkin
President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Head of the Administration of the President of Russia Sergey Naryshkin.
The President noted that advanced Armenian-Russian relations develop dynamically and the two countries successfully continue their political dialogue. According to the President of Armenia, the state visit of President Dmitry Medvedev conducted to Armenia last August and important documents signed in the framework of the visit gave a new impetus to the bilateral relations.
“I attach great importance to the cooperation between the Presidential Administrations and the work they do.
I hope that direct ties between the different departments of the Administrations will allow to conduct a better monitoring of the orders issued by the Presidents and raise efficiency of our work,” President Sargsyan said.
Serzh Sargsyan underlined that despite the post-crisis problems which are present in Russia as well as in Armenia, the turnover between the two countries this year has grown by 12 percent.
The Head of the Administration of the President of Russia expressed hope that cooperation between the Presidential Administrations of the two states would enhance the Armenian-Russian cooperation.
“Please be assured that Russia also attaches great importance to the strategic cooperation with Armenia. I agree that close monitoring of the assignments in the different areas of cooperation will produce better results since You and the President of Russia have already identified a very broad spectrum of cooperation, encompassing all areas – economic, humanitarian, technical and military. The assignments must be carried out,” Sergey Naryshkin said and assured that the Presidential Administration under his leadership would conduct strict monitoring and assist in the implementation of the Presidential instructions.
