The President of Slovenia Danilo Turk will start his official visit to Yerevan in the evening of October 10
At the invitation of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the President of Slovenia Danilo Turk accompanied by his spouse Barbara Miklic Turk will start his official visit to Yerevan in the evening of October 10.
In the framework of the visit, on October 11 the President of Slovenia will visit Tsitsernakaberd - Memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Then the President of Slovenia will be hosted at the Presidential Palace, where the Presidents of Armenia and Slovenia will hold a private meeting, followed by the extended negotiations with the participation of the official delegations. The ceremony of the signing of the documents will also take place at the Presidential Palace. After the ceremony, Presidents Sargsyan and Turk will hold joint press conference.
In the afternoon, the President of Slovenia will visit Matenadaran and the Union of Armenian Artists. Afterwards, President Serzh Sargsyan and President Danilo Turk will participate at the opening of the Armenian-Slovenian business forum.
In the evening of October 11, President Serzh Sargsyan and Mrs. Rita Sargsyan will host an official dinner in honor of President Danilo Turk and Mrs. Barbara Miklic Turk.
On October 12, President Turk will hold a tête-à-tête meeting with President Sargsyan at the Presidential Palace which will be followed by the official farewell ceremony.
President Turk’s visit to Armenia will be concluded with the meeting at the Holy See Echmiadzin with Catholicos of all Armenians, His Holiness Garegin II.
