By the August 19 decree of President Serzh Sargsyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov was awarded the Saint Mesrop Mashtots medal for his considerable contribution to the strengthening and development of the centuries-long Armenian-Russian friendly relations.
