Presidents Serzh Sargsyan, Dmitri Medvedev and Ilham Aliev held a tripartite meeting in Sochi
Today, in Sochi the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the President of the Russian Federation Dmitri Medvedev and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev held a tripartite meeting on the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The second half of the meeting was conducted with the participation of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the three states.
The Sochi meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan is their first meeting in 2010 and the forth in this format – with the participation of the President of Russia.
The Republic of Armenia appreciates mediating efforts of the President of the Russian Federation aimed at the peaceful resolution of the NK conflict.
At the Sochi residence of the Russian President discussed were issues related to the current stage of the NK peace process and its prospects. Later, the Presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation continued discussions during the informal dinner.
In Sochi, the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan are also to meet with the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Yuri Merzlyakov, Bernard Fassier, and Robert Bradtke.
Today, late at night President Serzh Sargsyan will return to Yerevan.
