President Serzh Sargsyan received Gary Shaw - a famous promoter
On August 31, the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received Gary Shaw - a famous promoter who is also the promoter of the superflyweight World Box Champion Vik Darchinian. Present at the meeting was also Vik Darchinian and the President of Armenia’s Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukian.
Gary Shaw informed the President of Armenia that next spring he plans to organize in Armenia a boxing match with Vik Darchinian’s participation, noting that Armenia has never hosted professional boxing matches before.
Welcoming the idea, President Sargsyan expressed readiness to assist in the implementation of the program. The President of Armenia also expressed confidence that it would be a great event for numerous Armenian boxing funs and would be another excellent opportunity to present Armenia to the world.
