Address by the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of Constitution day
Dear Compatriots,
I congratulate all of us on the occasion of Constitution Day.
The main law of the land is the roadmap which guides us in our efforts for state building, establishment of intersocietal relations, and democratic empowerment. I strongly believe that the power of the Constitution is enforced by the will of each citizen of the Republic of Armenia, by the will of those, who are ready to defend the values and the way of life which are at the core of the development of the Armenian statehood.
Principles enshrined in the Constitution are of pivotal importance and their implementation must be the supreme task for our entire state policy, legislative activities and the society. This is the only way to put into practice the main constitutional values and strengthen constitutional democracy in our country.
I once again congratulate you and wish you all the best.
