President Serzh Sargsyan laid flowers at the memorial of the great chess player Tigran Petrossian
The President of the Republic of Armenia, President of the Armenian Chess Federation Serzh Sargsyan laid flowers at the memorial of the great chess player, World Chess Champion Tigran Petrossian who would today turn eighty.
The President of Armenia watched the tournament dedicated to the memory of the great chess player with the participation of the Armenian veteran-chess players, representatives of the School of young chess players, as well as Olympic champions Artashes Minassian and Tigran Petrossian.
Later, there took place a working meeting with the participation of the President of Armenia and the leadership of the Armenian Chess Federation regarding the celebration of the 80th jubilee of Tigran Petrossian.
