President Serzh Sargsyan received the well-known Armenian-Argentinean entrepreneur Eduardo Ernekian
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the well-known Armenian-Argentinean entrepreneur, President of the Armenian International Airports Company Eduardo Ernekian.
The President of Armenia said that he is well-informed on the progress of the programs implemented by Eduardo Ernekian in different areas.
President Sargsyan and Eduardo Ernekian concurred that despite certain difficulties caused by the global financial and economic crisis, it is necessary to move forward. According to the businessman, all programs initiated by him are running smoothly.
Presenting investment programs in the area of agriculture, E. Ernekian noted that these programs employ most modern technologies and new methods of development and irrigation. The President of Armenia highlighted the importance of studying these technologies and introducing them in other agri-businesses.
The two sides also briefly touched upon the programs implemented in the banking area and in Haypost Company. Eduardo Ernekian said that to encourage innovation, new ideas and to discover young Armenians with the inventive mentality, the Fruitful Armenia project, which is sponsored by him, has announced an essay competition in the areas of agriculture and agricultural production, finance and infrastructure development.
