President Serzh Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Armenia, Mrs. Renate Stille
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Armenia, Mrs. Renate Stille who is concluding her term in office in our country.
The President of Armenia thanked the Brazilian diplomat for her activities during her ambassadorship and noted that Armenia attaches great importance to our relations with Brazil.
Renate Stille said that as the first resident Brazilian Ambassador to Armenia during her three-year tenure in office she strived to develop the Brazilian-Armenian relations and bring them closer. She also said that she was leaving Armenia with the warmest feelings and would always be Armenia’s supporter.
The two sides stressed the importance of invigorating the political dialogue and expanding economic agenda and recognized the special role of the Armenian-Brazilian community in the development of bilateral relations. They concurred that the opening of the Armenian Embassy in Brazil, which is to take place by the end of this year, would become a serious impetus for deepening the ties between the two peoples and two states.
The President of Armenia wished the Ambassador of Brazil all the best in her future endeavors and noted that in her person the Republic of Armenia has acquired a good friend and promoter of the Armenian-Brazilian relations.
