President Serzh Sargsyan participated at the reopening of the Museum of Russian Art.
The Museum of Russian Art reopened its doors after the renovation on October 28. The President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan attended the official ceremony of the Museum’s reopening.
The renovation of the Museum has been conducted by the decision of the President with the funds provided by the Foundation of Social Investments.
The Museum of Russian Art was established in 1984 by the initiative of Doctor Aram Abrahamian, an Honorary citizen of Moscow and is based on his private collection. The Museum exhibits paintings of over 120 artists representing the Russian art in the end of 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries.
