The newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia, Stepan Sukhorenko, presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan

Today the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia, Stepan Sukhorenko, presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his nomination, the President of Armenia noted with satisfaction the high level of political dialogue between the two countries, the efficient cooperation in international structures and positive dynamics of the economic cooperation.

According to Serzh Sargsyan, in their relations Armenia and Belarus also take into consideration the fact that both states are part of one security system, members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization which gives a special meaning to their relations.

Ambassador Sukhorenko said that he had arrived to Armenia with strong positive feelings and sees his task in strengthening the ties between the two countries. He also said that was intended to give a special attention to the full utilization of the potential present in the economic area. “Belarus is a stable and reliable partner for Armenia,” the Ambassador of Belarus stressed.

The President of Armenia assured that in his activities the Ambassador of Belarus could rely on a complete support of the Armenian side.
