Today President Serzh Sarkissian received His Holiness, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.

Noting that the President entered the office in a critical time for the state, His Holiness said that the President’s programs, plan of actions and determination inspire confidence that the coming years will be the years of a steady progress.

President Sarkissian said that he would continue his policy of maintaining the state-church relations on a strong foundation and enhancing them for the benefit of our people and our state.
