Order for "Services to the Motherland"
The order for “Services to the fatherland” is awarded for state, social and political activity and significant achievements in the spheres of economy, the defense of the motherland, national security, as well as in humanitarian sphere and for other outstanding services.
The order for “Services to the Motherland” has two degrees:
- The first-degree Order for “Services to the Motherland;”
- The second-degree Order for “Services to the Motherland.”
The highest degree of the Order for “Services to the Motherland” is the first degree.
The first-degree Order for “Services to the Motherland” is awarded to servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and other armies, servants of public and local self-government bodies and their officials, as well as to citizens of the Republic of Armenia and Armenian nationals who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
The second-degree Order for “Services to the Motherland” is awarded to servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and other armies, servants of public and local self-government bodies and their officials, as well as to citizens of the Republic of Armenia and Armenian nationals who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia for other significant services to the motherland.
The Order for “Services to the Motherland” is to be worn on the right breast after the Orders “Tigran the Great” and “Vardan Mamikonian.”
