The Medal of Parental Glory is awarded to those parents (parent) and adoptive parents (adoptive parent) who are citizens of the Republic of Armenia and have raised six or more children.

The Medal of Parental Glory is awarded to those parents who start a family, lead a healthy family life, ensure an adequate level of health care, education, physical, spiritual and moral development of their children and set an example to strengthen the institution of the family and child rearing.
