The Medal of Courage is awarded for personal bravery demonstrated in the spheres of the defense of the motherland, protection of public order, national security service, criminal executive, judicial acts compulsory enforcement and rescue services, as well as for fulfilling official or civic duty under conditions dangerous for life.
