Working visit of the President Vahagn Khachaturyan to the Russian Federation

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan paid a working visit to the Russian Federation to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Within the scope of the visit, the President had a meeting with the representatives of the Armenian community of St. Petersburg. During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to the overall socio-political and economic situation in Armenia were discussed.

The President introduced the details about the recent economic reforms and programs implemented in the Republic of Armenia. The sides discussed the principles and concepts of the main directions in the domestic and foreign policy of Armenia.

During the meeting, President of the Republic of Armenia touched upon the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, the current situation of the Karabakh conflict and the possibilities and pathways to address it. Afterwards, the President talked with the representatives of the community in an unrestrained atmosphere and answered their questions.
