President Serzh Sargsyan conducted a working visit to Lori marz

The President of Armenia visited Tashir textile factory and Tashir Milk company. In the framework of the visit and on the occasion of the All-Armenian poet Hovahannes Toumanian’s 140th birth anniversary, President Serzh Sargsyan visited the birthplace of the poet, Dsegh village. The President of Armenia laid flowers on the tomb of the great poet and toured his home-museum. Serzh Sargsyan visited also Gloria textile factory in Vanadzor. On the occasion of Vardanants Day celebration, President Sargsyan visited Vanadzor’s Saint Grigor Narekatsi Church. He also stopped at the secondary school n. 1, where he participated at the unveiling ceremony of the memorial of the Armenian Catholicos Vazgen II. The President of Armenia concluded his visit by attending the opening ceremony of Vanadzor’s specialized chess school for juniors.
