President Vahagn Khachaturyan Congratulated President of France, Emmanuel Macron

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on the occasion of France’s National Day.

“July 14, the day of the Storming of the Bastille, marked a turning point in the history of France, forever changing the destiny of the country and its people. This national holiday carries profound significance not only for France, but also for all nations, including Armenia, that uphold the values of freedom, human rights, equality, and democracy.

It is with particular satisfaction that I note that, under Your presidency, the exceptional political dialogue and multifaceted cooperation established between Armenia and France have evolved into a strategic partnership, which is now developing successfully across all key areas of mutual interest.

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the friendly Republic of France, and personally to You, for Your consistent support for Armenia, your efforts to deepen the Armenia–European Union partnership, Your principled stance in defending Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as Your commitment to advancing the peace agenda in the South Caucasus,” the message reads.
