President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to Governor General of Canada Mary Simon on Canada Day.

"I am glad to state that friendly and partnership relations have been established between our countries based on mutual respect, trust and common values.

The opening of the Canadian Embassy in Armenia in 2023 has become a new impetus for the development and strengthening of Armenian-Canadian relations.

I attach great importance to Canada's continued support for democratic reforms in our country.

I am confident that through joint efforts we will contribute to the deepening of cooperation in spheres of bilateral interest and the full realization of the existing potential," reads the message of President Khachaturyan.
