President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent congratulatory messages to the President and Supreme Leader of Iran

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi on the occasion of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year.

"May the coming year be marked by new successes and achievements for Iran.

Warm and friendly ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran of a thousand-year history, are of particular importance for the Republic of Armenia.

I am confident that through joint efforts we shall raise bilateral relations to a new level for the benefit of regional security and the welfare of our peoples.

I wish you good health and all the best, and the friendly people of Iran lasting peace and prosperity," the message reads.

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Nowruz to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei as well.

"I cordially congratulate you on the holiday of the awakening of nature and the onset of spring-Nowruz. May the New Year be marked by constant achievements and lasting peace for the neighboring and friendly Iranian people.

Armenia highly appreciates the warm and good-neighborly relations formed in an atmosphere of mutual respect with Iran.

I am confident that by realizing the great potential existing in bilateral relations, we shall further deepen close cooperation and shall soon witness the implementation of a number of current and planned ambitious programs for the benefit of strengthening regional peace and welfare of the Armenian and Iranian peoples," reads the message of President Khachaturyan.
