President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda on country’s National holiday, the Independence Day.

"Armenia attaches great importance to the development and expansion of cooperation with Lithuania both in the bilateral format and within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership.

Lithuania's ongoing efforts aimed at the process of democratic reforms in Armenia and the establishment of lasting peace and stability in the region are highly commendable.

I have warm memories of our meeting and constructive dialogue during our visit to Lithuania last Spring.

I am full of hope that through joint efforts we will enrich the Armenian-Lithuanian agenda with new initiatives and programs for the benefit of our nations," said the message of President Khachaturyan.
