President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier on the German national holiday, Unity Day.

The letter reads:

"In the history of world politics and foreign affairs, this day was marked as a breakthrough for Germany and the whole world, symbolizing the end of the Cold War.

I am pleased to note that we succeeded in establishing effective cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.

Germany's support and efforts aimed at democratic and economic reforms in our country, as well as establishing peace and stability in our region, especially in this challenging period for Armenia, are of high value.

I warmly recall our meeting in Berlin, frank communication, and meaningful private discussion.

I am confident that through joint efforts we will foster the development of Armenian-German relations and deepen the existing active dialogue for the benefit of our peoples.

I wish you sound health and all the best, and peace and welfare to the friendly people of Germany."
